A Portion of Ed McClain Road to be Closed Beginning September 11
FREDERICK, Md. – A portion of Ed McClain Road will be closed from Emerald Crown Drive to 4639 Ed McClain Road beginning on or about September 11.
This closure will allow Kibler Construction, under contract with Frederick County Government, to construct a realignment of Ed McClain Road consistent with the approved plans for the Monrovia East West Connector project. Detour signs will be placed along Ed McClain Road, Fingerboard Road (MD 80), and Green Valley Road (MD 75).
The project is anticipated to continue through Spring 2027 weather permitting.
