Trump Hosts Tech Leaders as US Launches AI Government Platform
Trump will unveil the digital initiative at 10 a.m. local time (1400 GMT) during remarks at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington. He will later hold a closed-door White House meeting focused on artificial intelligence at 12:30 p.m.
An RSVP list seen in reports includes 31 confirmed participants, among them Vice President JD Vance, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and US House Speaker Mike Johnson.
The technology sector will be represented by several major executives, including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, AMD CEO Lisa Su, Broadcom CEO Hock Tan, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and Palantir CEO Alex Karp.
OpenAI President Greg Brockman is also expected to participate, while CEO Sam Altman is in San Francisco attending the company’s annual conference, according to reports.
Other expected participants include former White House AI adviser David Sacks, NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman, White House science adviser Michael Kratsios and National Intelligence Director Jay Clayton.
