PHOENIX – Arizona Senate Democratic Whip Senator Rosanna Gabaldón (LD21) received the County Supervisors Association’s (CSA) Good Government Award, recognizing her commitment to collaborative policymaking and practical solutions that strengthen county governments and serve communities across Arizona.

Presented during a Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors meeting, the award honors Gabaldón’s responsiveness to local needs and support for bipartisan, results-focused legislation. Her work includes advancing infrastructure, economic development and rural resilience.

“Senator Rosanna Gabaldón exemplifies the kind of partnership that strengthens county government services and protects the local taxpayer. Her willingness to listen, work collaboratively, and focus on practical solutions makes her a valued partner with county officials. We're pleased to recognize her with CSA's Good Government Award for her leadership and commitment to a strong state/county partnership serving constituents,” said Craig Sullivan, CSA Executive Director.

“I am honored to receive this recognition for the second year in a row, but what means the most to me is the partnership we have built,” said Senator Gabaldón. “Good government starts with listening, working together and staying focused on the people we serve. I’m grateful to CSA for bringing county leaders and state lawmakers together and making sure county voices are heard at the Capitol. Those relationships help us deliver meaningful results for our communities.”

Senator Gabaldón represents Legislative District 21 and has consistently advocated for education, environmental protection and public safety. She continues to work with local leaders and colleagues across the aisle to address southern Arizona's needs and strengthen communities statewide.
